Fiachra Ó RaghallaighFiachra Ó Raghallaigh is a postgraduate student at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID), where he is pursuing a Masters in International Affairs. He splits his time between Geneva, Dublin and Freiburg (Germany). A lover of languages, he speaks English, French, German and Irish fluently.

Outside his academic life, he has a strong passion for two subject matters: creative writing and politics. Whatever time he does not spend socialising or studying, is invariably spent trying to reconcile the two with each other. He has written two novels – one a high fantasy novel which he maintains shall never see the light of day, and the other – Earldust – a much grittier work, which is available for reading on request. He is currently working on a short story collection (earlier works can be found here

He has extensive experience in owning and managing creative arts websites, has contributed to political blogs such as Teaandtoast.ie, and news sites like TheJournal.ie, the University Times and Trinity News.
